I am a recently retired math teacher of 30+ years. I'd like to coach students to become better math students. Part of that is helping them with their current assignments. The other part is helping lower their math anxieties and boost their confidence in problem solving. I use a growth mindset approach and challenge the notion that there are students out there who aren't "math persons."
