Andrew Wiener and his two younger siblings grew up in Café Shalom, Boston’s first Kosher dairy restaurant that Andrew’s father Marvin opened in 1977. After Andrew graduated with a culinary degree from Johnson and Wales in Providence RI, he worked at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in NYC. There, Andrew trained under the direction of world-class chefs and event planners, serving clients from across the globe. In 1988, Andrew moved back to Boston and established Catering by Andrew.
